UET Engineering Entry Enty Test Held in Punjab
LAHORE (Sunday, September 12, 2011 – Combined entrance test for admission to the engineering institutions of the province for undergraduate programs (Entry-2011) under the University of Engineering & Technology (UET) was held here on Sunday.
Around 41,000 candidates were expected to appear in the test but about 10 to 15 percent students could not show up owing to their weak performance in FSc examination as the result was announced by examination boards across the province on Saturday.
The test was simultaneously held at the UET, Lahore, UET, Taxila, BZU Engineering College, Multan, Islamia University, Bahawalpur, NFC Institute of Engineering Research & Fertilizer, Faisalabad, University of Gujrat, Siddiq Public School, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi, NED UET, Karachi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, UET, Peshawar, and Serena Hotel, Quetta. UET Vice-Chancellor Lt Gen (r) Muhammad Akram Khan while talking to the media at the university campus said that the latest techniques were used for the preparation of the entrance test paper. The result of the test would be declared on September 18 at night and would be uploaded on the varsity s website www.uet.edu.pk.
