PESHAWAR (March 26, 2011): The police Saturday baton-charged teachers of the Institute of Business and Management Sciences (IBMS), Agricultural University, after they staged a protest outside the Governor’s House against non-payment of their salaries for the last three months. The teachers first gathered outside the Peshawar Press Cub and marched towards the Governor’s House. They staged sit-in on the Sher Shah Suri Road after the police did not allow them to move further. The scuffle started after the cops, escorting the protesting teachers, tried to restore the flow of the traffic and disperse the protesters.
