LAHORE (October 8, 2011) – Railways lower grade employees on Saturday continued protest against delay in provision of their salaries, they locked the Divisional Superintendent offices and chanted slogans against the government and railways authorities.
Railways Union led protestors said that the top management was not playing its role for the provision of their salaries.
The protesters said that their protest was peaceful, but they would jam the system of all the trains, if their salaries were not paid.
The protesting workers regretted that they were facing shortage of daily use products as they were already in debt and the shopkeepers were demanding their arrears.
