A ray of hope

I retired as SEVP from Habib Bank Limited (HBL) on February 8, 1996. My pension was set as Rs. 8245 and it has never been increased. Only once in 1999 under the directive of Honorable Ombudsman it was raised slightly. Since then all requests and notices to HBL management have fallen on deaf ears. The appeals sent to State Bank of Pakistan did not bear any fruits either. My monthly pension stands static at Rs. 8245, whereas the monthly pension of my counterparts in other banks has quadrupled over the last few years.
It is height of illegality, injustice and highhandedness displayed by a well renowned bank and there is no one I can ask for help except the Honorable CJP of Pakistan to kindly invoke his suo moto powers to undo this wrong practiced by HBL on many retired pensioners and the families of the deceased pensioners.

I am serving in HBL since 25 years Last week i recieved pesnion letter with Advise this pension is full and final and never increase more that amount is Rs.3872/- I think HBL managment is trying to KIll the emloyees with the Help of Pakistan Govt.I surveyed that other emplyess of all instituion are getting 15000/- pension in this stage.Further it is more painful that now in pakistan there is no Instituion in pakistan and no court is available to HBL emplyess to listen these voices. We appeal to CJ & president Pakistan to please Help us. If no one help us in judgment day we will ask for this.

Are the staff serving in HBL/MCB/ABL/UBL not spoiling their life & what will their families do after retirement when expenses will be at hike. Is there any one to think over, perhaps no one, only you will have to bear & leave the world to suffer the dependents.
