PESCO announces 40 percent Hard Area Allowance for employees
Peshawar (Business Recorder / Tuesday, November 20, 2012) – Management of the Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (PESCO) announced the employment of the two sons of Jan Mohammad Niab Qasid and 40 percent hard area allowance for the employees.
This was announced by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) PESCO, Tariq Saddozai in a gathering of the Pakistan Hydro-Electric Central Labour Union here on Tuesday at WAPDA House, Peshawar.
Those present included Pakistan Hydro-Electric Central Labour Union General Secretary Khurshid Ahmad Khan, Labour Union Chairman Iesco Rehman Ghani, Chairman Gogar Taj, Provincial Chairman Iqbal Khan, Vice Chairman Mustajab Mazdoor Yar and other representatives of the Union were also present.
On this occasion Labour Union representatives assured their full support to PESCO Management.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Executive, PESCO, Tariq Saddozai thanked for the support of the Union in eradicating the power pilferage and reduction in line losses. He announced employment for two sons of Jan Mohammad, Naib Qasid in PESCO, whose three sons were electrocuted during an incident recently. Similarly CEO PESCO also announced 40 percent hard area allowance for employees in the light of announcement made by the Minister of Water and Power for keeping their hard work in difficult atmosphere.
He urged the employees for hard work for the sake of the benefit of the Company. He also announced that PESCO Recovery of September 2012 has been increased by 4 percent and attributed it to hard work of field staff of the Company.
