Nurses Refused to Accept 3Years Contract Offered By Punjab Government

Lahore (Breaking News / Saturday, March 15, 2014) – Young Nurses Association Punjab has refused to accept the offer of three years contract.

Early this Government of Punjab has announced 3 years contract for the ad-hoc / contractual nurses of Punjab province. After the laps of three years contract nurses would pass public service commission examination. Nurses who would pass the exam will be regularized. Nurses failed to pass the PPSC exam will not offered regular service.

On Friday when protesting nurses try to go on mall road, the police started batten-charge on them. Almost 5 nurses received injuries. One nurse, Amna Bibi was in critical condition.

Adhoc nurses of Punjab hospital were fired last week on expiration of contract. They were staging protest at sitin (Dharna) in front DG health nursing office.
