National Assembly Employees Cooperative Housing Society (NAECHS) – NA body for accommodation of retired, widows of deceased employees
Islamabad (Friday, March 1, 2013) -/ Daily TheNews) – National Assembly Standing Committee on House and Library has decided to accommodate the retired employees, widows of the deceased employees of the National Assembly and the members who had deposited the full payment of the plot in the National Assembly Employees Cooperative Housing Society (NAECHS) on priority basis.
The National Assembly Standing Committee on House and Library met under the Chairpersonship of Deputy Speaker, National Assembly Faisal Karim Kundi in the Parliament House on Thursday.
The deputy speaker commended the work done by members of Special Committee of NAECHS and suggested a letter of appreciation for them.He said that with the sincere endeavours of the members of the Special Committee the dead project of NAECHS has become operational.
He apprised the Committee that the society will be inaugurated in couple of week and allotment letters will be distributed amongst the members of the Society soon.Some members of the Society complained about the price of the plots. They were of the view that the plots in nearby societies are cheaper than the plots offered to them by NAECHS administration.
They also informed the Committee that they have deposited full payment of the land announced by the then Management of the Society.
The deputy speaker assured them that their reservations will be addressed. Member, Planning and Development, CDA has informed the Committee that the administrator of the Society has not submitted the requisite documents for issuance NOC, therefore, NOC could not been issued, so far.
The deputy speaker directed the administrator of the Society to fulfil all the formalities required for issuance of NOC.The Members of the Committee expressed their concern over the cleanliness condition in the Parliament Lodges and poor quality of maintenance work carried out by CDA in Parliament Lodges.
