Saad rafique announced insurance scheme for passengers and employees in Pakistan Railways

Lahore (Sunday, November 2nd, 2014 / Dunya News Report) Pakistan Railways on Saturday decided to provide insurance for passengers and employees. The federal minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique said that Rs 1 billion has been added to the target of passenger trains, Dunya News reported.

A meeting headed by Saad Rafique took place at Railway headquarters in Lahore in which key decisions were made.

One such decision was to insure passengers and employees. According to the details, an individual will be compensated with Rs 8 lakh in case of death and Rs 3 lakh in case of injury.
