Eid package for International Islamic University (IIU) staff
Islamabad (Saturday, October 20, 2012) – International Islamic University (IIU) has announced Eid package of Rs12,000 for its employees to celebrate the festival with religious zeal and follow practice of Sunnat-e-Ibrahimi.
The package has been announced for the employees of Grade 1 to 16 of the university. The refundable grant is a feast for the staff members of the university to follow practice of Sunnat-e-Ibrahimi by sacrificing animals without having any extra burden on their pockets. The amount will be deducted from the salaries of those employees who avail this opportunity as Rs1,500 per month.
Islam is a religion of peace, brotherhood, love, affection, humanity and always disseminates message of sharing and helping others. To practically follow this principle, Muslims around the world slaughter animal at 10th Zil-Haj and share their joys with their brothers and sisters who have meagre income sources.
IIU Staff Welfare Association President Chaudhary Nazir and General Secretary Sardar Hussain expressed their gratitude to the IIU president for announcing the package and facilitating the university staff.
