Karachi (May 13, 2011): Young Doctors Association (YDA) Sindh on Wednesday has warned the government to resolve doctors’ issues within next seven days otherwise doctors throughout the province will not attend OPDs from May 18, SAMAA reported.
Addressing a press conference at Karachi Press Club, YDA Sindh President Dr Abbas Ali Shah alleged that despite several meetings with provincial officials and ministers, issues of doctors had not been resolved so far.

Dr Shah demanded the government that uniformed policy should be adopted across the country. We are not given proper salaries and security though doctors work day and night during emergencies and natural calamities. Doctors in Sindh are given less salaries in comparison to other provinces, he maintained.
The representatives of several doctors’ association also supported YDA Sindh’s issues and demanded the government to address young doctors’ issues immediately.
