Punjab protesting doctors issued show cause notices
LAHORE: In order to pressurize protesting doctors, to end their ongoing strike in Punjab, dozens of young doctors have been issued show cause notices on Tuesday. According to sources, these show cause notices have been issued by the medical institute, College of Physicians and Surgeons, where those doctors studied.
About 15 days ago, all young doctors of Lahore, Multan and many other places started a strike for increase in salaries. After a constant strike of more than two weeks, young doctors’ strike has more intensified; strike started from Lahore but gradually it spreaded all across the province.
