General Nursing Training Course Admission in Nishtar Hospital Multan in Session 2015
Multan (Wednesday, August 19th, 2015) – School of Nursing Nishter Hospital Multan has announced admission in three years General Nursing Training Course. Unmarried women/girls can apply on prescribed prospectus. Prospectus can be obtained from Nursing School Office on payment of Rs. 100 dues. Age limit for the applicants is 25 years as on September 15, 2015. While age limit for widow or divorced woman is 30 Years.
Seats distribution is as follows:-
Open Merit (All Punjab in including District Multan) = 30%
District Multan (Closed merit only for the District Multan Domicile Holders) = 65%
Midwife LHV = 3%
For children of Health Dept Employees = 2%

Introduction of School of Nursing Multan
Nursing School, Nishtar Hospital, Multan was established in June 1953 with the collaboration of UNICEF. Training for general nursing started in the same year. Initially there was with one post of nursing instructor and ten probation nurses. In 1955, classes for midwifery course were started. Miss Moolchand , who was tutor of Lady Atchison , was assigned duties for training of midwives.
At present two hundred general nursing and midwifery student nurses are under training. The school of nursing is now a well reputed institution with glorious academic record.
