PROJECT – BASED VACANCIES
Applications are invited from suitable candidates, fulfilling basic eligibility requirements, for the following “CONTRACT BASED POSITIONS”; to implement an infrastructure project of the Federal Board of Revenue. The positions are entirely “Project Specific” and will continue till completion of the Project ONLY; subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent. The positions are Islamabad based, but may require traveling all over the country. The hiring authority may annul the contractual appointment with one-month prior notice/one month salary, on account of unsatisfactory performance of the incumbent.
Name of the Position Qualification Experience, Knowledge and Skills Upper age limit DEPUTY PROJECT DIRECTOR Minimum of 16 years of education, Preferably MBA Training and Courses related to Finance, Operations Management, Public Policy Fair understanding of Technology related to ICT. Knowledge and Skills: Indepth knowledge of Project Management and Implementation and fair understanding of Public Sector Management Experience: At least 15 years of post qualification progressive managerial experience, preferably in Public Sector 50 Years CHIEF ACCOUNTS OFFICER Advance qualification in Management Sciences i.e. Public Administration, Finance, MBA, ICMA, CA- Intermediate (a minimum of 16 years of education) Training and Courses related to Financial Management, Public Procurement, Public Administration and Public Procurement. Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge of Financial Management and overall Public Sector Management Experience: At least 15 years of post qualification progressive managerial experience, preferably in Public Sector 55 years ACCOUNTS OFFICER At least a Bachelor Degree (14 years or more) in Business Administration, ICMA, ACCA, CA-Intermediate or SAS qualified Courses in Book-keeping, Cash- handling, Reconciliation of Accounts, Drawing and Disbursements, Account Management and Treasury Rules. Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge of Budgeting, Accounting and Audit, Financial Management, preferably in the Public Sector Management Experience: At least 8 years of progressive experience in accounts and financial management, preferably in Public Sector 50 years DIRECTOR COORDINATION Minimum of 16 years of education Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge of Functioning and Structures of Public Sector Institutions. Inter-personal/negotiation skills IT and Presentation Skills, Public Sector Administration Public relations and coordination with public and private sector Experience: At least 08 years of progressive managerial experience, preferably in Public Sector 40 Years CIVIL ENGINEER B.E (Civil Engineering) from HEC recognized University, Preferably advanced certification in Contract Management, Monitoring/ Evaluation Knowledge and Skills: Presentation Skills Public Sector Administration Experience: At least 10 years of progressive experience of Civil Works Management, 45 years AUDIT OFFICERS At least a Bachelor Degree (14 years or more) in Business Administration, ICMA, ACCA, CA- Intermediate or SAS qualified Knowledge: Hands-on knowledge of Book- keeping, Ledgers, Reconciliation of Accounts etc. Experience: At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounts and financial management, preferably in Public Sector 40 years MONITORING AND EVALUATION OFFICERS A bachelor (14 Years) of Degree in any discipline, preferably science Skills: Excellent IT analytical and Communication Skills Experience: Minimum five years of progressive Work experience, in the multinational environment or public/private sector projects 40 years PROJECT ASSISTANTS A Minimum 12 years of Education, in any discipline, preferably science Skills: Excellent Typing skills Experience: Minimum 3 years of progressive Work experience, in any public or private sector organization 40 years OFFICE BOYS A Minimum 10 years of Education, in any discipline Skills: Good reading and writing skills (Know-how of Computer will be an added advantage) Experience: Minimum 2 years of progressive Work experience, in the any public/private sector 40 years DRIVERS A Minimum 10 years of Education, having two years old (LTV) valid driving license Skills: Excellent Driving Skills 45 years GUARD/ SEMI-SKILLED WORKMEN A least Middle (8th Standard) Pass Personality Traits: Dependable, Multi-tasking HR, who has basic competency in manual work/ chores, within the PMU’s office 40 years
How to prepare Application package: Typed Applications containing a CV (maximum two pages) and NOC (in case of applicant from Govt. Service), addressed to the “Project Director, ITTMS Project, FBR” shall be sent to the Secretary (Customs Projects), Federal Board of Revenue, FBR House, Constitution Avenue, Islamabad latest by 15th April, 2016.(Last Date) Applications received after this date shall not be entertained. NOTE: Only shortlisted applicants will be called for written test/interview. No TA/DA shall be admissible.
