Lahore: LHC adjourns hearing against BoGs in 26 colleges

Lahore High Court (LHC) has observed that the court can interfere, if the formation of BoGsin colleges is illegal.A two-member bench of Lahore High Court headed by Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry heard the petition against the establishment of Board of Governors (BoGs) in 26 colleges of the province. The counsel for the complainant informed the court that the formation of the boards in 26 colleges was illegal.
The court said that if the formation of BoGs was illegal then it would be interrupted and if it was according to the law then the court would not interfere. The hearing of the case was adjourned for 15 days.
